How do I pair my Bluetooth device with my phone or tablet?
Most Bluetooth devices pair similarly:
Place your Bluetooth device within 3 ft of your phone or tablet.
Press and hold the multi-function / pairing button for 10-15 seconds to begin the pairing process. The device will enter pairing mode and its LED lights will flash.
Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone or tablet to search for the device. “POM Gear” should appear on your device menu under Available Devices. Select to connect to “POM Gear”
You will hear a confirmation tone that the device is now paired. Once paired with your phone or tablet, you are now connected by Bluetooth. Play music or make calls on your phone or tablet and enjoy!
My Bluetooth is not connecting what can I do?
If you have followed all instructions and referenced your product user manual but are still encountering issues pairing your devices try powering your phone or tablet off and trying the process again. If this does not work, your POM Gear device may not be fully charged. If you continue to experience issues with pairing Bluetooth, please contact our customer support for step-by-step instruction and troubleshooting.
How long do I have to charge the ear buds to get a full charge?
Each device is different. The product user manual will outline the optimal amount of time to spend recharging your device. We strongly recommend against overcharging the product and leaving it in the charger overnight. Overcharging the device can gradually weaken the battery’s power and result in a more frequent loss of power and product damage over a shorter period of time.
Within how much distance does a Bluetooth device stay connected?
POM Gear products usually have the capability of Bluetooth connection from about 33ft (10 meters) away. This means you can place your device safely at a distance and still listen to music and make phone calls. This feature is perfect for work or working out!
How do I use a portable battery pack ?
A portable battery pack is basically power on-the-go so you can charge any USB enabled device wirelessly. That means you can charge your cell phone, tablet or any other device without having to plug into a wall outlet. These portable battery packs need to be recharged themselves when they run out of power.
How do I recharge my POM Gear device?
Please only recharge your device using the included charging cable. Plug this cable into a wall outlet or computer and the other end into our POM Gear device. Monitor charging so as to avoid overcharging any item.
Can I change the battery of my POM Gear product?
No, our products feature a built-in non-detachable battery, it can not be removed. The battery can be recharged but not replaced. Do not tamper with the device’s internal battery. For any other questions or issues with battery please refer to our Warranty page.
